DriveTech - Heavy Traffic Licenses and Endorsements

Wheels, Tracks and Rollers Endorsements

If you drive a special-type of vehicle that isn't a forklift on the road, you must have an W, T or R endorsement on your driver licence.

In addition to holding the appropriate special types vehicle endorsement, you must also hold the appropriate full class of licence that covers the weight of the special-type vehicle you want to drive.

About the Course

Drivetech Ltd supplies the machines for these courses in Invercargill and Mosgiel but in other places you will have to supply your own or we may know of a firm that would let you borrow them.

This is done at a time to suit the client and one of our assessors. This involves theory and practical parts. Once completed, you will leave to go to the AA or VTNZ to have it endorsed on your licence. There will be a charge of $43.00 per endorsement for this at the AA or VTNZ. These can be done all together or separately.
