Street Talk (Defensive Driving Course)
An interactive course including one-on-one in-car session with a driving instructor
Complete this course to reduce your restricted license period by up to 6 months
This course can be completed at any stage of your class 1 car licence (Learner, Restricted, Full)
The Street Talk course consists of 4 sessions that focus on:
- Risk Perception
- Risk Management
- Self-reflection
- Decision Making
- Goal Setting and Monitoring
Participants must attend all sessions in order and cannot continue if they miss a session.
You will be provided with a logbook of the course content and assignments.
OPTIONAL: You can do this Unit Standard as part of the course. Please allow another 2 hours for the assessment (Spread out over the 4 sessions) Extra cost will apply.
