Brian has had 45 years working in the Transport and Heavy Machinery Industries and has also been involved in the Farming Industry. He started as a boy in these industries and worked his way through to being an employer and trainer. He has had three stints at Fulton Hogan over a 27 year period and has been involved with intensive farming including owning his own Romney Studs between these stints. He has many skills as a trainer and has seen too many disasters, so he prides himself on training and preventative training.
Jackie Scott-Frew (Operations Manager)
Jackie’s Industry experience comes from driving buses and she is very passionate about logbooks as well. Jackie has completed a National Certificate in Adult Literacy and Numeracy, has her Certificate in Adult Education and training and is working towards her Diploma.

Gemma Hall (Scott)
Gemma Hall is our Senior Manager, Instructor/Assessor and Daughter. She also does Car Driving Lessons in the Southland region. Gemma is an assessor for Logbooks, Class 2 Licences and Defensive Driving (Street Talk Programme)
Dave has been in the Transport Industry for 40 years. He has worked as a Instructor in both New Zealand and Austraila. Dave is an assessor for Class 1, Class 2 and Class 4 at Drivetech. He holds a certificate in Adult Education as well. He has many skills as a trainer which he enjoys using and is very empathetic. Daves motto is that ‘What you do wrong is what we have all done wrong’ and his role is to help you achieve your qualification and overcome the issues.
Paul has been in the Transport Industry for 17 years. He has worked in different areas in the Industry from Truck Driver, Machinery and HIABS. Paul is going to be able to assess for Class 1-5, Forklift/OSH, Dangerous Goods, Wheels, Tracks & Rollers and Off road Driver Training. He is looking forward to passing on some of his knowledge and working with you.
Daryl is an Invercargill based Trainer and Assessor who complements our core business by offering courses in Elevated Work Platforms, Bridge Engineering Self Supervision (BESS), Cranes and Rigging, and Traffic Management. When required Daryl will travel to the other branches to deliver this training.
Alistair Newall lives in Mosgiel and is our Otago Assessor. Alistair has had many years experience operating machinery and trucks. He is a Volunteer for the Mosgiel Fire Brigade and a qualified emergency response driver. Alistair comes highly recommended and brings with him a wealth of experience that he cant wait to share with his students.
