Wheels, Tracks & Rollers (WTR) Endorsements
Drivetech Ltd provides Wheels, Tracks and Rollers (WTR) endorsement training for operators who need to drive special-type vehicles on the road. Our training is practical, straightforward, and designed to help operators meet the legal requirements for driving these machines safely and confidently.
If you drive a special-type vehicle on the road that is not a forklift, you must hold the appropriate W, T or R endorsement on your driver licence.
In addition to holding the correct endorsement, you must also hold the appropriate full licence class that covers the weight of the machine you intend to operate.
About the Course
Drivetech offers WTR endorsement training at a time that suits both the client and our assessor. The course includes both theory and practical training and can be completed for one endorsement or multiple endorsements together, depending on your requirements.
For training in Invercargill, Drivetech can supply the machine for the course. For training outside of Invercargill, you may need to provide your own machine, or we may be able to help arrange access to one through another business.
Once you have successfully completed the required training and assessment, you will receive the relevant paperwork to take to AA or VTNZ so the endorsement can be added to your licence. A fee will apply through AA or VTNZ for each endorsement.

What You'll Receive
When you complete WTR training with Drivetech, you’ll receive practical training and assessment for the endorsement or endorsements required for your role. Once you have been assessed as competent, you will be issued with the documentation needed to have your W, T or R endorsement added to your licence through AA or VTNZ.
